During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mark served as Director of Development of the 5pm Series, helping to raise over $70K in funds to support performing artists in a nationwide virtual concert series. Now, he leads Loudoun Lyric Opera, Loudoun County’s resident opera company, which, under his tenure, has more than tripled its annual operating budget, expanded its programming from one performance per season to over ten, and now serves over a thousand opera lovers, enthusiasts, and newcomers each season. Mark was recently named to Loudoun’s 2026 Class of 40 Under 40 in recognition of his service to Loudoun County.
