Martha Williamson, a passionate advocate for classical voice and opera, resides in Delaplane, Virginia. Martha has dedicated herself to supporting the arts, particularly in the realm of opera. With over a decade of experience overseeing her son’s training programs at esteemed institutions like the American Boychoir School, Shattuck St. Mary’s School Voice Center of Excellence, Interlochen Arts Academy, and now the Royal College of Music in London, Martha has gained valuable insights into what it takes to bring outstanding productions to the stage. Her expertise extends to understanding the production needs of directors, vocalists, audiences, and philanthropic endeavors. 

Martha’s creative vision for opera is centered around her passion to support the arts. She enjoys visually compelling stages that equally showcase the devotion and talents of these incredible vocalists. She believes that creativity and innovation are essential in building and enticing contemporary viewers to attend performances and drawing in audiences. 

Martha’s experience extends beyond the world of opera. She has successfully headed committees, planned large events, and provided philanthropic work for various organizations. Notably, she served as the head of Parrish Life at Trinity Episcopal, raised funds for the American Boychoir School, Shattuck St. Mary’s School, and Interlochen Arts Academy, securing support from donors.

Through her involvement, including competitions, staging, classical voice and opera performances, Martha has developed a creative vision, holding unique opportunities that bring interest and serve the community. Her experience spearheading an Opera Night at the Barns of Rose Hill showcases her ability to think creatively and bring people together through the arts. With her passion, experience, and creative vision, she brings her commitment to supporting the arts, classical voice, and opera, while serving Loudoun Lyric Opera.
